This huge Shisha is located in Cape Zanpa Park 残波岬公園, this Shisha called 残波大獅子（ざんぱウフジシ）[Zanpa Ufujishi] 7m High and this huge Shisha is must largest Shisha in Okinawa.
This is my home town Yomitan village. I used go there when I was little.
I was looking through my pictures and I found some interesting before and after pictures of the huge Shisha.
Below is a before picture taken of the Shisha the first time my kids went back to their 2nd home in Okinawa.
Almost 10 yeas ago, my son who was 6 years old and my daughter who was 5 years old
were posing on the huge Shisha. We were having a contest on the cutest pose.
And below is an after picture taken of the Shisha almost 4 years ago with my oldest and younger sons.
They were having a contest on who the strongest.
Did you realize the change in the Huge Shisha?
Well, I am not sure if this Shisha has any legend? I have to look into that one.
Anyways this Shisha is a symbol for Yomitan Cape Zanpa Park and is known for its huge Shisha. Behind that Shisha theres a very nice and large park and they have nice playground for kids. Also there is a place called Zanpa it’s a relaxation and refreshment plaza in this park and they offer a nice area that you can play tennis, soccer, soft ball and rugby, and they also have a Restaurant and barbecue area. Cross the Street from the park there has nice beach called Zanpa beach and Next to the Park is Zanpamisaki Royal Hotel. You can go there and jump in pool, go in the sauna and golf too…
hmm… you can have so much fun in just this area to for days and days(fun in OkinawaTime)
Park is 7 days week but office is closed every Wednesdays.

Located in if you are driving from Naha taking north Route 58 to Route 6, turn left on Route 6 and follow the signs to Cape Zanpa. You will first past my Yomitan high school on left and after Torri station(AAFES Facilities) on left and when drive little more you see that sighs for Cape Zanpa. When near Cape Zanpa you see on the left Okashi Goten and right Zanpamisaki Royal Hotel.
