Ryukyu Mura (Ryukyu Village)
Ryukyu Mura is model village that has been built in the park. This Village gives flavor to the old time Okinawan life style. There are original Okinawan style houses that have been collected from various places in Okinawa.
When you are in Ryukyu Mura, they show you the old fashioned way to produce brown sugar. They use water buffalo strength to drive the big sugar cane grinders to move forward crushing the sugar canes. Once they produce juice from crushing the sugar canes, it has to be boiled to produce the much favored brown sugar. If you ever go there try Koku tou黒糖, it is organic and contains many vitamins and minerals. You can use this brown sugar in cooking and as a substitute for white sugar in coffee or tea, or you can also eat it like a piece of candy.

There is also a snake center in the park. When I used to live in Okinawa, they would hold stage fight between the Habu snake and Mongoose but when I visited Ryukyu Mura with my family almost 4 years ago they just introduced the Habu on stage. There are additional payments to see videos of the Habu vs. Mongoose. (While, that was little disappointment for my Kids they were excited to see the Habu vs. Mongoose fight on stage.) Also, they introduce Habu powder, cream, and sake in the snake center.
